Lynch motor

There are two companies (not including Briggs & Stratton) making motors to
Cedric's design, the Lynch Motor Company (London Innovations) and LEMCO (ASMO
subsidiary). Cedric left the company that bears his name after dissagreements
over improvements to the motor, which would have improved reliability and
decreaced watantee claims. He set up a new business with help for the biggest
customer for his motor, ASMO, who produce electric karts. The two companies
have settled their differences and are now co-operating. Lynch have not
updated their site for a very long time and Lemco are only a little better.
Neither company has website expertise in-house.

My motor is the double magnet version (60 volt) with a new Silver/Molybdenum
disulphide loaded brush compound (lower friction and lower voltage drop). In
addition it has a reinforcing band (to special order) for higher rpm
operation (higher voltage) and a different magnet size/shape. The different
magnets lower the rpm-per-volt and raise the torque-per-amp. The magnets may
or may not become a standard fittment or option.

All this extends the greater than 90% efficiency range down under 24 volt and
raises the maximum safe voltage (and hence available power) to something like
80 volt.
