Re:Sealing connectors
Hi all
There has been discussion recently on sealed connectors for use under a
vehicle.
I had a thought - in telecommunications they make connections in small
boxes that are then filled with an encapsulant gel (a bit like not so
sticky silicon that doesn't cure) and buried in the ground.
How about using an Anderson connector, wrapped in (plastic?) and then the
wrapping filled with encapsulant gel? This would keep moisture from the
connector, but would require mechanical protection.
Just a thought.
