Re: Battery Cycle Life/Cost

Mike ,
I am running 24 t-125's in my Mazda and I think that now my pack is starting to
fail me. The cooler weather is not helping any, but I now have to plug in twice
a day. Once at work and once at home. My draw on the truck is about an honest
175-200 amps @60-65 mph and 80% of my trip is highway. I have close to 7000
miles on them and are almost a year old. I was always concerned about the high
(195 volt) finish charge rate, but was assured that this was alright and was
within specs...........
I know I certainly don't have the snap I once had and my pack voltage is between
125 and 135 volts at highway speeds, if I don't charge and try and make a round
trip with only one charge my voltage drops to 95-120 at the end of the trip.
