I seriously doubt there will ever be a thousand Tango's on the road.

It's hard enough to get consumers into 'regular' economy cars because of the
perceived safety issues.  This is why truck sales now outnumber car sales,
people think trucks are safer because they are bigger.

No matter how safe they make the Tango people are going to see how tiny it
is and most will be convinced that it isn't safe because of it's size.

FWIW There are now several hundred Sparrows on the road, I don't see anybody
else copying 'that' idea yet.
