Dear Bruce,
Thanks for the nudge!

We now have over 1000 test drive requests from the USA
alone....  (gulp!) and receive about 15,000 unique visitors
to our website every month.

The Dauphine Electric has always been intended as a limited
production vehicle with an estimated delivery of about 150
cars per year.

Our hang up with selling into the USA is still with NHTSA.
We have approval form Transport Canada to sell the cars in
Canada, and nothing stops us from doing so. The situation
with NHTSA will require more time and resources to sort out,
and we intend to this spring. As the USA is our major target
market for the Dauphine we are holding off on production
until we have a clear ruling from NHTSA

  http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov ].

In the next month or so we will be launching a new, mass
produced LSV in North America with some really exciting
features (like doors!) and the most automotive styling and
performance in the LSV market.

We currently have one of our LSV's touring California for
the next couple of weeks and if you are "in the area" I
would like to arrange to have our VP of Marketing meet you
with the car.
