True. If your main regen is activated by the brake pedal, not off
throttle,
then it's no brainer. In my case I do engage my brain, because the
regen is activated by hand (control is on the shift stick) which is
unusual. I purposely turned off off throttle regen, I like coasting
longer. This is no problem for me, and I wasn't discussing general
public
acceptance or habits.

For hypothetical production EV what I did in mine is not acceptable.
But you know what? Frankly, I don't care.
