Ouch!  That's a lot of money for a compact SUV.   A gasoline powered RAV4
costs about $15K for a basic one to about $25K for one loaded with options.
$44K would buy two well equipped gasoline powered RAV4's.   Does it
make sense for an electric RAV4 to cost twice as much as one powered by
gasoline?  I don't think so.

The gasoline powered RAV4 is a great little SUV.  I'd like to own one.
