RE: Max charging rate?



Lead-acid is about C/10 for ten hours plus a float at constant voltage,
though you're better off with a smart charger as you can squeeze more in
early on, depends a bit on the battery....I've been recharging AGM's with
off-the-shelf of my local car-spares place automatic smart chargers and they
do a fine job.....my AGM's were very second-hand when I got them, I used
them for two years on the C5, they've been used since to power 12V stuff in
my shed, garage and workshop, and they're still going strong....indeed I'm
selling them as part of the C5 bundle mentioned in my post earlier.....
