Chains are noisy, use a belt. Plain ball races have maximum capacity in 
radial (side) loading. The E-tek uses a pair of opposed angular contact 
bearings giving better axial (thrust) loadings but is more than capable of 
taking the load of a belt or chain.


Please. please, please, don't gear this motor too tall. The 385 Amp rating is 
for a matter of seconds, not 2 minutes as stated by some sources.
