As I recall, at the beginning of charging you can blast AGMs with
C, or even 2C current with no problem, they even like it better.
As long as you watch the battery temp, there is no current limit
specified. Practically though (provided you have very powerful
charging means) the temperature of the battery impose limitation
on the charging current.
