RE: Must See! Beautiful Pre-Production Tango!
Here is an interesting link that should be forwarded to anyone still
thinking that smaller cars are not safe: the Euro NCAP website:
http://www.euroncap.com/
Euro NCAP stands for European New Car Assessment Programme, and is an
independent organization financed by European ministries for transportation
and consumer organizations.
Check out the "Results" section, particularly for the "Superminis" category,
which is the rough equivalent of subcompacts in the US - the Smart falls
into that category. Several models got a 4 star overall result, which is
more than decent.

If someone runs into me at high speed, I prefer to roll over being
inside rigid box (belts are on) than being smashed flat, when better
handling of a smaller car no longer matters.
