Ed,

I may well have misremembered the price. I recall reading on this list
that the price for the most recent models had jumped significantly, and
thought the figure of $120 had been mentioned.  Perhaps the price jump
was actually to $60/ea from something lower?  If the price is actually
$60/ea, then the cost of switching to a superior chemistry may not be
justified, however, a pack with >>2Ah more effective capacity than the
existing one can still be fitted for less cost in a large number of
cases.
