ozone smell

Hello,

I occasionally get a bit of ozone smell in my EV.  There are still 
quite a few holes in the firewall so smells come through pretty 
easily.

Is a little ozone smell normal or does it always indicate bad arcing? 
If I smell it should I check out my commutator and brushes 
immediately?
