Well, the Sparrow actually weighs 1350 lbs (curb weight.  Does that include 
the 260lb driver?)
I use about 55 amps at 55mph.
I have no idea what the WYNSTAR tires are like, but my web searches only 
found that name associated with really cheap tires.
So, better tires might actually save some power...
