Re: First drag race battery test file available at Manzanita Micro website



Two additional files of a couple SVR batteries have been added to the
download section. These were both tested at 100F. They tested at 6.9 and 7.4
milliohms and the voltages were sinking during the test.

The Genesis battery did the same thing early in the test development. I
would imagine that we will need to cycle them several times at high amps
before they stop sagging during the test. This can be seen in the Watts
chart because the trace going up and coming down do not overlay each other
as the Genesis battery performed.

The test is not automated so the amps line rises and falls as fast as I
crank the knob. I want this to be automated to make the tests more
consistent. When it is automated, I can tell it to do several tests without
operator intervention and the results will be automatically recorded.
