How about just an spray can of epoxy paint?  (I may actually try that on mine.)

I thought I had, but a couple lights were still on when I shut the door, 
and I was already late for work...  Also one of the low-volt lights came on 
- but not on one that had had the reg light on.
As I said, lots of work with a hair dryer and 12v charger this weekend.  sigh.
