Hmm, I don't think so. THe voltage meter shows may be 120VAC, but
look at the waveform. It is the same as summing up two sine waves
shifted 120' (third one removed). The shape is "squareish" and is not
the same as *single* phase 240V tapped in the middle (two 120V
180' apart) i.e. far from being sine.
Resistive and some other loads don't care, chargers which rectify
input anyway (PFC-20) don't care. Other chargers do (Zivan) or
get unstable (Siemens).
