Note that Webb was not home at the time of the fire, but quoted the firefighters
who rushed to the scene.  It is possible that her quote was accurate (she might
have talked to them after, and might have reported their comments accurately to
the Post).

Per a public information person I spoke to in the Fire Department there, he was
quite clear that the cause of the fire has not been officially decided.  

Nonetheless, this is not the first time I've heard of what looked like an
EV-charging-in-garage fire, so I am interested to learn much more and I assume
that there is some truth to the idea that such a thing can occur while charging,
perhaps as a result of bad design or bad parts or I don't know what?...
