Hi Mark,

There will be a fair amount of time when not much is happening.  Keep
moving to keep them interested.  Also, 5 and 9 year old ears are *very*
good (except when you want them to listen ;^), but they won't stay that
way if you beat them up with 100+ dB.  Hearing protection is a good
idea.  Mack's wax ear plugs are good for kids (follow the directions).
You can get them at any drug store.  Muffs work better and aren't very
expensive.
