Re: Tried to burn up my battery pack, car, and garage today
Hello to All,
Man, from the title of your post, I thought the worst and imagined your beautiful Ghia
looking like the Zombie did!

More then likely, this is probably the best thing you could have done to your aging
Optimas.....a nice overcharge but not enough to vent them...well done, glasshopper! Take
your car out, and I bet it really lays rubber now and has a reinvigorated feel to
it....bet the range is up, too. About once a month, I purposefully over-charge the almost
5 year old Optimas in Blue Meanie...they love it, and reward me with killer power delivery
(the Emeter pegs at 1020 amps) and range that is still where it was years ago.
Ya know, this is your car's way of giving you a sign that it is saddened and displeased
that you are not bringing it to our BIG EV show, where it can visit and play wwith other
EVs, and where everyone is wishing you'd come and join the fun. Come on JB, I've offered
my trailer, and Bruce will even tow it to and from Bend...you'll get free food on this
end...man, we're trying to make this a piece of cake for you!
In any EVent, I'm really glad you and your Ghia weren't hurt.
See Ya........John Wayland
