The PFC50s are buttoned up, I have finally cleaned the back pack
interconnects for the first time in 4 years,
I am getting some prep work done, but... Man Goldie's ugly!!! I just
have to get the Fiero a tow bar.
I will be heading South to Woodburn this afternoon. I really should get
some new tires on the Fiesta... since they would put me in E-mod if I
tried to A-cross them. They are BALD!!! and just about perfect for drag
racing.
Geoff... One thing about Victors Seimans drive... and boy is he going to
kick my butt for this!! They are only 45 Kw. Or something like 280 to
320 amps per phase. Kinda light duty for Us hot comm bar types. 180Kw is
more like it, and I still have dreams of doing a 250Kw AC drive, or
somthing like 1200 amps.....Per phase, and a nice 480 DC buss withstand
voltage. Something that will get to that 88 Mph in a short parking lot.
And yes I do have a Fiero....And a couple of large AC motors,.... and
some really inpressive IGBT modules.
Did I mention the PowerEX CM1400DU-FN24s??? these are my current "to
drool over"device. 1400 amps 1200 volts. They would make single device
1400 amp DC conrollers and of course with 3 in a row thats 1400 amps Per
phase.
Or 5200 earth shattering DC amps. And they cost less then $1000 each.
With this much snort on hand.... we could hunt F40s, and Vipers... and
Vettes.
