Sorry; no offense meant to you.  I left your name out of my post 
deliberately in the hopes of not doing so.

If the developers posted it this way, then they are the ones who are being 
careless and contradictory.  That would lead me to approach their posted 
data with some caution.

No worries about destroying my soapbox; I have a pretty good supply of
