Re: New ADC 11" motor, Citicars, an' Stuff

I don't know how old the pack was when I got it, but the batteries are a
large 12 Volt type. I never have a lead foot when I drive. Even years
ago when I was still driving an ICE I was teased about being slow, always
arriving later than everyone else when we all started from the same place
at the same time. I would like to redo the car to have lower voltage, use
6 Volt batteries instead of 12, and remove those now under the back window
(behind the passenger's heads). However, this is probably not a golf cart
project, it is definitely not something I can do, and I don't even know if
it would run ok on lower voltage as it has two controllers. It is very
cute. If it would go 45 mph for 35 to 40 miles I would be thrilled as
that is way more than I usually need and would cover my non-standard long
trips.

I have been considering asking Shari and Mike (of Electro Automotive) if
they would be interested in remodeling it for me since they are VW and
electric experts. If you are using a dozen T145 that means 72 Volts.
That would be even better than the 96 I thought would be appropriate.
