Re: GAS-L: rated power - Dual Fuel Diesel
Let me rephrase my question. The best engines for producer gas are
long-stroke, high compression engines. Since diesels are normally around 20:1
or 22:1 or higher, doesn't that make them a better choice, despite the fact
that they need a bit of diesel for ignition? Or is that too high a compression
for producer gas?
When I refered to "gas" engines, I was meaning gasoline fueled, not
engines designed for natural gas or propane (which would be rather hard to come
by, I'd think).
