Jerry I am very interested in this feature of the system. What turbine can take heat, even waste heat, and convert it to power? I don't mean theoretically, I am interested in available technology if it exists. Thanks Neal Van Milligen CAVM@AOL.com jerry5335@yahoo.com writes: << One way they are using the fuel cell heat is to replace the fuel burners in a gas turbine with the fuel cell's waste heat to power the turbine. This could make fuel cell/turbine combo 75% eff. The navy is testing it now. So use your loop to run a Rakine heat engine or process heat. >> - Gasification List Archives: http://www.crest.org/discussion/gasification/current/ Gasification List Moderator: Tom Reed, Biomass Energy Foundation, Reedtb2@cs.com www.webpan.com/BEF List-Post: <mailto:gasification@crest.org> List-Help: <mailto:gasification-help@crest.org> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:gasification-unsubscribe@crest.org> List-Subscribe: <mailto:gasification-subscribe@crest.org> Sponsor the Gasification List: http://www.crest.org/discuss3.html - Other Gasification Events and Information: http://www.bioenergy2002.org http://solstice.crest.org/renewables/biomass-info/gasref.shtml http://solstice.crest.org/renewables/biomass-info/
