I have been a sunscriber to this discussion group 
for almost two years now
and I am suprised at the way certain topics seem to 
digress from the main
focus of this discussion group.  I would state 
that Gasifiers to date are
yet to take off in a big way.... the reason is 
not shortage of fuel
(bio-mass, wood etc) to worry about 
gene manipulation.
