RE: [pvusers] RFI Inverter Problems
Hi Bill,
You should be able to get a cheap RF choke in your local Radio Shack and
loop your telephone line through it. I believe this should cut out most of
the RF harmonics created by the modified sinewave inverter.
kind regards,
Sascha

Subject: [pvusers] RFI Inverter Problems
I have 5 PV feeding 3 strings of 2 - 6 Volt ddc batteries making a 12
Volt overall system.
The inverter makes so much RFI (radio frequency interference) that the
telephone line can be very bad, so bad that the computer I am using
will connect only at 23k, but if I use the generator, I can get 44k. No
wonder it has to slow down, it is the RFI that is killing me.
Any suggestions on how to control the RFI??
Bill Neill
