I have used the Power Star and am currently using a Prowatt 1750. Both
modified sine wave. Neither had an effect on my connection speed. To limit
the RF interference I twisted the input cables as much as possible. Since I
was using 2/0 cables, there are not a lot of twists per foot, about two, but
that seems to limit the noise. My Macintosh, TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo, Printer,
all run fine on the modified sine wave.
