GBlist: parking lot surfacing recommendations

Student Request:
How about some comments on "green" parking lot surfacing?

I am looking for a semi-permeable parking lot material that can act as an
alternative to asphalt. At Rhodes College there is a temporary parking lot
in the planning stages and they would like to use a material that is both
cost efficient and environmentally friendly. Do you have any suggestions or
the number of anyone I can ask?

Thanks in advance for your comments, please send to requestor:
