Invisible Structures has installed a parking lot at the Orange Bowl in Miami
and many other places that uses an "invisible" plastic grid structure,
honeycomb shaped filled with soil and grass. It looks like a lawn but can
handle heavy traffice. firetruck stabilizers etc.
I've never seen it myself but the literature is impressive
