Hello, Jonathan.
Atlas manufacturers a pentane-based Polyiso that is significantly better
than other Polyiso or extruded boards and it's facer sheets are all
recycled-content "stuff".  You can get a TPO, ( which is a much better
environmental choice than EPDM's), so you still may get a better albedo with
a color (like gray) that may be acceptable.  If you're going to adhesively
apply the membrane you can specify a water-base adhesive that complies with
SCAQMD regs.  Carlisle, Firestone, Stevens and Versico will all give you a
15 year warranty if you use products that are exclusively manufactured or
marketed by them.  Not all manufacturers carry all colors.
