Linda, can't think how light colored roofing would make the slightest
difference for a SIP roof.  There is some thought that a metal roof without
a gap between it and the OSB might be bad, ie condensation could accumulate
but I couldn't find consensus about that.  Think it important to place at
least one layer of 30# felt under the roofing material--at least with metal
it is.  And that of course is black.  Sacie Lambertson
