GBlist: Re: Are You an Eco-Bigfoot?

Thanks, Bruce for listing this. Nothing like confronting a brutal truth.

For those who want a direct route to the website, the address is:

http://www.lead.org/leadnet/footprint/intro.htm

I now know that my lifestyle requires 6.7 hectares or 16.6 acres. If I
believe that at least 50% of the planet should be left alone, that means it
would takeat least six earths to support everyone at my level of
consumption. My ecological footprint is 66% that of the typical United
Statesian, but three times the world average.

I'm setting a goal of reducing my footprint to 5 hactares within 4 years.
I'll let people know how it goes.
