You forgot AutoCad, which despite being clumsy, clunky, and about as counter-intuitive as can be concieved, continues to dominate the market because "that's what everyone uses".

When did this ever happen?  The better marketer gets the lion's
share, that's all - has nothing to do with how good something is.

Some recent examples:  VCRs (can't remember the name of the other
type that was against what we have now), Windows vs OS2, PC vs
Apple - and thus it shall ever be, unless and until we stop being a
herd of sheep.
