GBlist: bracing foam sheathed wall specs

Other thoughts on how to do this:

€ Use 1/2" plywood or OSB at corners, cover with 1/2" foam, to be flush with
1" foam elsewhere. Use other combinations as appropriate; convert to metric
for all our sane friends outside of U.S. (Thanks to Paul Fisette for this
idea.)

€ In the U.S., there's a product called "Thermoply" which comes in
structural sheathing grades. Applied to the INSIDE of the studs, may
provide adequate structural bracing and act as an excellent moisture/vapor
retarder. Has a foil face, too - if strapped over, resulting air space may
provide additional benefit as radiant barrier - at least until the foil gets
dusty or oxydizes.

2¢ for now.
