RE: GBlist: green coating for 4' x 9' foam sheets
Title: RE: GBlist: green coating for 4' x 9' foam sheets
Sounds like a job for upholstery. There are scores of upholstery manufacturers and thousands of patterns. Natural materials typically more expensive than petroleum-based materials. Many 100% recycled materials also available. Can be anything from indestructible, hose-off material to soft and plush. Let me know if you want a list of my particular favorite manufacturers and patterns. Cost anywhere from $15-90 per yard, usually in 54-inch or 60-inch widths.

Subject: GBlist: green coating for 4' x 9' foam sheets
Hi gang. I'm looking for some advice on finding a material to cover 1200 -
3000 square feet of 4' x 9' x 2' high density, fexible foam sheets that I am
using as mats in my tai chi center. The mats were given to me and saved me a
lot of money, however, they are somewhat delicate and I'd like to seal them,
if possible, with something that will give them a longer life, and also that
I could use to repair small areas of them when the get torn.
Cost, flexibility, low/no voc, toxicity, smell, all factors....
Thanks
Jeff
