Re: GBlist: Where to find house cleaner without chlorine bleach?

Heidy Ho. If clapboard and deck mean real dimensional wood, then if the wood a bucket, hot water, brush and essential oils of tea tree and/or eucalyptus and/or pine and/or orange and/or lavender. There is probably more (sage too). One of these essential oil bottles will do and they cost from $5 to $20 depending if you support your local essential oil producers that use local plants. Once you've killed the mold and your clapboard and deck  become dry enough to sand, then you can sand the wood and apply light coats of lead-free linseed oil. Is there any method less toxic and more sustainable?

Folks, I'm looking for a way to clean my moldy and discolored clapboard and deck.  Someone recommended to me Renew house cleaner (with hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorox bleach) used in a powerwasher.  Does anyone know where I can buy Renew or another less toxic house cleaner?  thanks!!
