RE: GBlist: Shutters

Title: RE: GBlist: Shutters

Others have suggested alternatives to traditional shutters. On the other hand, for high quality wood shutters, there is a wonderful manufacturer in Brewster, MA... can't remember the name but I'll dig up the catalog in the office tomorrow.

My personal feeling is to spend the dough on high quality and reduce expenses elsewhere. You can amortize improvements to your property, too, which should help with the tax bite... and I prefer high quality, long lasting, naturally sustainable products to poly- or iso- anything.
