Re: GBlist: mold on wood
I asked a similar question last year, which someone forwarded to an IAQ
list. It turned out to be a much bigger can of worms than we anticipated.
Many molds can create serious health problems (sp? stacibatrous), especially
in developing young lungs. Killing and removing mold from porous surfaces is
next to impossible. For our project all of the mold infested wood was
removed for other structural reasons. I can track down the IAQ list address
if you like.
