GBlist: how to have clean air in a woodshop?

Does anyone know the best way to maintain safe air quality in a woodshop?  I assume the standard shop sawdust collectors with cloth bags pump lots of small particles into the air.  Adding a HEPA filter to the room must help, but is there a better approach?

Thanks!
