In japan the cost for an installed grid connected PV system is US$2.95 per
watt. I am sure germany is seeing similar prices. What do they know that we
don't know? How is it that our country has spent billions of dollars on PV
development only to have it used by foreign countries. How has that come to
serve us? Maybe we have a false sense of security when our country our economy
is nothing more than a fragile shell.
I have an article that discuss the cost of $2.67 cents per watt PV systems
installed here in the USA. It is to big to send to the list so I am attaching
it to a separate file. If anyone else is interested in reading about the future
of PV please send me an email and I will send them file. Some time we just have
to have faith. Stay the course and in the end we will triumph.
