Greenbuilding list members,
I am seeking ideas, links, suggestions, innovations, etc. for my dream.
My dream is of a shared land inhabited by industrious and creative
individuals. Animals, streams, rivers, ponds, and an abundance of flora
abound. The group is small or large, the land itself is spacious, wild
and habitable. The weather is warm or cool, with snow or tropic breezes.
The homes are constructed by the residents, of recycled or renewable
materials; cob, strawbale, earthships; the construction of homes and
shelters an ongoing project. The residents are self employed or
employed off site or share their earnings as by choice. Music and dance
are a weekly event, enjoyed by the surrrounding community at the site.
Community members view the site as a place of harmony and peaceful
lifestyle. The site itself sells its art, organic fruits, vegetables and
products onsite. School children come visit the site for field trips..
It is a place that will last in their memories forever; a place where
storytellers and poets entertain, where writers are inspired, where a
summer picnic becomes a favorite memory.
I know this is a shared dream. Send yours
Terri Shull@earthlink.net
