[GBlist] PVC/ABS

I understand that the manufacturing process of PVC is nasty, I was wondering
if anyone had information about the manufacturing of ABS pipe, I am setting
up a rain catchment system and would like to find out if using ABS as the
collection pipe is going to make me have pig-faced offspring or something. I
thought since it was not under pressure it would work fine.
