RE: [GBlist] Zero Energy House on Washington Mall (fwd)

Ted:

Not to be overly picky but I think a few key words are missing from your
posting. A tight house is not NECESSARILY a healthy house. A TIGHT HOUSE IS
NOT NECESSARILY AN UNHEALTHY HOUSE EITHER.

Yes, outgasing, all the pollutants coming out of just common everyday
human habitation, and the incubation tendency towards bacteria-virus growth,
are health risks. CONTROLLED fresh air exchange is vital TO HEALTH AND
ENERGY USEAGE CONTROL.

Cheers,
Ralph Bicknese

There has to be more to a home than a high insulation rating.
When green becomes the buzz-word, and it will, we are going to have green
12cylinder autos, green coal fired generating plant, green airplanes. Is
there a set of conditions one must satisfy before we embrace them as being
green?
