RE: [GBlist] CA-Look to the Sun!-NYTimes 4/25
I'm not a great historian, so I won't have exact facts and figures, but
I know that there has been millions of dollars invested in subsidy's for
what we have now. Low loans, tax breaks, incentives research sharing, other
resources I'm not even smart enough to know about. So much petro research is
done in universities, using our tax dollars, then turned over to industry. A
LOT could be done to get the price of PV down. We have done an enormous
amount for ALL of the destructive industry's who control us. They dole out a
paltry mill or so for alternative research, just to have a sound bite during
a press conference. It's called lip service, frankly I'm tired of hearing "
Alternative solutions just aren't here yet". Give Alt Energy the same break
you gave dead dinosaurs.
