[GBlist] icf and termites

I'm working on the design of a building for Atlanta, Georgia where the owner wants to use ICF's (polysteel) for exterior walls. As I understand it foam usage is not allowed to within 6" of grade. The building is 1/2 on slab and 1/2 on crawlspace. I want to use a conditioned crawlspace and would like to begin the icf's at the footings as a means of insulating the crawlspace (instead of pouring a foundation wall). Is anyone familiar with effective and approved (two different things) methods of termite prevention (adhered membranes, etc.).

many thanks
