I've had an Aquastar from Controlled Energy Corp for the past 9 years.  <A
HREF=""http://www.controlledenergy.com/">Controlled Energy Corp. - Common
Sense Heat & Hot Water Technology</A> Generally speaking, they cost double a
tank hot water heater but save enough to pay for itself in 2-3 years max.
I've had very few performance problems.
