[GBlist] PosiGrip non slip tile and ceramic finish

I am trying to improve a situation with an elderly lady who has a new 120 sf
bathroom with glossy smooth 8" ceramic tile flooring.

Does anyone have any information on a product called PosiGrip. The MSDS
says that an active ingredient of PosiGrip is Sodium Hydroxide (empirical
HNaO formula NaOH).

PosiGrip and water are applied to ceramic tile, porcelain or concrete and it
modifies the surface to make a smooth slippery finish such as bathroom or
kitchen tile permanently less slippery even when wet.

They claim that this treatment does not attack the grout. Help please.
