[GBlist] Olefin area rugs

Hello GB list!

You should check with the rug supplier or manufacturer to see if the
wool rugs you are thinking of using are treated with moth repellents, or
other treatments. Other alternatives include jute, sisal, coir, hemp,
and cotton rugs including rugs made from recycled fabrics.

See Naturlich Natural Home http://www.monitor.net./~nathome and
Earth Weave Carpet Mills http://www.earthweave.com for samples.
See
http://www.naturalhomemagazine.com/current-issues/archive/2001/julyaug01/fiber_optics.htm

for a great current article on natural fiber rugs.

Regards,
Debra Lombard
