A couple of minor corrections to some previous posts:

I know this was probably a typo but the board is called "Hardie Board" and
not "Harie Board." Although, those who have used this product will probably
also call it "hairy" board because of the fiberglass fibers that itches the
hairs on one's arms and legs when cutting it.

I don't know what product was discussed in the article, but I don't think
Hardie products would be it. To the best of my knowledge, the Hardie
products are a mixture of cement and fiberglass reinforcement. I didn't
think they contained any wood products but I have been known to be wrong
before. Except for use as underlayment, I don't think Hardie makes a
product that one would want to use as a permanent, finished flooring
material.
